Policy & Agreement
1. All rentals are the responsibility of the renter during the time of drop off to pick up.
2. We will inspect rental with you at the drop off time that everything is in good condition.
3. We hold a valid credit card on file. Copy of valid card front/back and valid State ID or Driver’s License is required to get rental. We do not process any money unless there is damage done when we inspect the item at pickup.
4. Venue and area rental is to be placed must be accessible at agreed upon delivery time. If there is no access at agreed upon delivery time there will be an additional $25 charge.
5. Please have rental available and accessible at agreed upon pick up time. If event goes beyond agreed upon pick up time we will charge $25 per half hour the event goes over.
6. Rental items are not be moved once delivered and placed.
7. We charge an additional fee for any rental picked up beyond 1AM. There is a $25 per after hour fee NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
8. The rentals are for the GUEST OF HONOR ONLY!!! Rentals are not intended for everyone to sit, drink, eat or lounge in. At pick up if other than the Guest of Honor and other people are in the chair we will charge your card $50.
9. No food or drink are allowed in the chairs. No dark colored jeans or color fast clothing are to be worn in the chairs. A cleaning fee of $100 will apply. Excessive staining or damage will result in replacement cost of the chair. Replacement cost range from $900-$1500. These are high end pieces of furniture. Please treat them accordingly.
10. There is a 50% nonrefundable deposit retainer to hold date which goes toward cost of rental. Balance must paid 1 week prior to date needed or contract is voided and all monies forfeited. Deposit retainer is nonrefundable but transferable 3 months from date of invoice.
11. Rentals are DELIVERY ONLY. Deliveries start at $50 within the city limits of Chicago. Further distance will be based on your location/mileage and tolls.
12. If your venue is on 2nd floor and up it MUST be an elevator building. Rentals will NOT be carried up the stairs. These are heavy and large pieces of furniture and cannot be brought into small/narrow spaces. Upon arrival if the rental cannot get through the door your rental will be voided and monies forfeited. Please be mindful when selecting your venue. If we arrive and there are stairs and additional $50 will be charged. Please be truthful when securing your rental.
13. Sorry there is no viewing of rental pieces. We are an online business and all of our pieces are in storage facility. Rental items are true to pictures on our website/social media pages.
14. All rentals secured 1 week or less from date of your event will require full payment up front.
15. Renter agrees that Sitting Pretty Luxe Inc. holds no liability for any damage or injuries caused by the use of our rentals. Renter assumes all risks of personal injury, damage or accidents involving our rentals while in the renter’s possession.
16. Any photos taken at your event by us may be used on our social media, marketing material or website with no profit to you.
17. Your personal information will not be shared. We understand that your personal information is something that you may be uncomfortable providing. Our rentals are very expensive that’s why these steps are necessary.
*A copy of your state issued ID/Driver’s License must match to insure you are the owner of the card. No prepaid cards will be accepted.
*THIS PART OF CONTRACT MUST BE FILLED OUT AND ALL COPIES RETURNED
*Authorization to bill your card for any repair or replacements done on your behalf. We will let you know total charges to be billed within 7 business days.
